		<p>2025 has been a defining year for us. With the launch of Lynx Impact, we’ve helped companies invest in education within their communities, not just as a CSR checkbox, but as a real driver of social mobility and sustainable impact.</p>
<p>So when The Big Green announced its annual IMPACT Trophy, it immediately resonated with our mission. The event celebrates organisations creating concrete, lasting change across business and society, exactly what we’ve been working toward.</p>
<p>We participated to raise awareness that education is one of the most powerful levers companies have to drive social impact.</p>

<p>On October 1–2, 2025, Deauville became a hub for CSR, ESG, HR, and impact leaders, all gathered by The Big Green to explore how businesses can accelerate social and environmental transitions.</p>
<p>Leaders shared bold ideas on sustainability, inclusion, and well-being, but most importantly, on how to take action.</p>
<p>When the jury began announcing the winners, we celebrated each category: Responsible Commitment, Collaboration with Impact, Sustainable Innovation, and Inclusion &amp; Well-being.</p>
<p>Then came the unexpected moment.</p>
<p>✨ The jury announced a special <strong>“Coup de Coeur” (Judge’s Favourite) Award,</strong> a recognition they created on the spot to honour a project they “truly loved.”</p>
<p>That project was Lynx Educate.</p>
<p>They described our platform as <em>“an innovative and necessary tool for companies to engage in society.”</em></p>
<p>We feel deeply honoured (and grateful) for their belief in our mission.</p>

<p>Through tailored learning paths, mentorship, and entrepreneurship programs, it’s helped nearly <strong>15,000 people</strong> access education that was previously out of reach.</p>
<p>Behind every statistic are stories like Jamol’s, a rider who transitioned into tech after completing a web development bootcamp. Or Daiyan’s, who used his generative AI learnings to move into a new career in the railway sector.</p>

		<p><strong>Can you share a little about your day-to-day responsibilities at Lynx?</strong></p>
<p>At Lynx, my role is a blend of sales, marketing, and operations. A significant part of my day involves lead generation for email campaigns, where I use tools like Lemlist to craft and monitor targeted outreach. I also manage the company’s social media accounts and create marketing assets for various campaigns. Operationally, I assist with administrative tasks and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Every day brings something new, and that keeps things exciting!</p>
<p><strong>What is it like working at a startup compared to other professional experiences you’ve had?</strong></p>
<p>Working at a startup is dynamic and fast-paced, which I find both challenging and rewarding. Unlike previous experiences where roles were more defined, at a startup, I get to wear many hats and be involved in multiple aspects of the business. The learning curve is steep, but the exposure to different functions and the chance to make a tangible impact is invaluable. It’s a unique environment where creativity and taking initiative are highly encouraged. I&#8217;ve definitely learnt a lot through this experience!</p>
<p><strong>What has been your favorite Lynx moment to date?</strong></p>
<p>My favorite experience was the opportunity to travel to Malta for the Supercharger Ventures accelerator programme. It was such a unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders and network with incredible professionals in the EdTech space, and having so much room to learn through immersing myself in the environment. I’m so thankful to Lynx for making this possible — it’s not every day you get to attend such an exclusive event in such a beautiful location!</p>
<p><strong>If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one new skill, what would it be — and why?</strong></p>
<p>If I could wake up with a new skill, it’d be the gift of storytelling! Whether it’s selling an idea, sharing a funny anecdote, or just explaining why I’m late because I <em>had</em> to stop for croissants — I’d love to be able to sprinkle a little extra joy and connection everywhere I go.</p>

<p>I was born in Canada and moved with my family to Philadelphia when I was eight years old. I have an international background: my father is a French pied-noir from Algeria, my mother is from Philadelphia, and my husband is Australian—we met in DC. My son was born while we were living in Mexico, and after Mexico, we moved to Miami. For the past seven and a half years, we’ve been living in France.</p>
<p>These days, my passions include tackling complex baking projects, cultivating my large vegetable garden, and enjoying word puzzles with my family.</p>

		<p><strong>What inspired you to transition from roles in finance and operations to co-founding Lynx?</strong></p>
<p>A little by accident and a little by design! For years, I admired the U.S. business model of offering education as an employee benefit—how companies use high-quality education to tackle challenges like employee turnover, talent attraction, and skills gaps. I became deeply passionate about this concept and connected with investors and others pursuing similar ideas. During the pandemic, while contemplating my next move, I realized it would be a life dream to build a company that addressed these issues to benefit workers, education providers, and employers. It felt like a &#8220;now or never&#8221; moment!</p>
<p><strong>What have been some of the most unexpected lessons you’ve learned from the experience of leading Lynx?</strong></p>
<p>One of the most unexpected lessons has been understanding just how iterative building a company truly is—it’s never an all-or-nothing process. I used to picture a moment when everything would feel like smooth sailing after reaching a key milestone. But once we got there, we were already focused on the next challenge. One day there’s nothing, then there’s a product, then one customer, then more—and suddenly, it’s all happening, step by step. I now fully understand what people mean when they say building a business is a marathon, not a sprint.</p>
<p><strong>As a CEO, what core values drive your leadership? How do you foster a culture of innovation at Lynx?</strong></p>
<p>Transparency and excellence are the core values that drive my leadership. I believe in doing things in a straightforward way, with all the facts on the table, so everyone understands the goals and feels empowered to contribute. At the same time, fostering a culture of high standards ensures we achieve meaningful results. By combining transparency with a space where people can test, fail, and try again, we create an environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.</p>
<p><strong>Are there any personal habits or routines that have been instrumental to your success as a leader?</strong></p>
<p>To be an effective leader, I need to stay calm—and for me, calm comes from feeling organized. This has been especially important in the early stages of building Lynx, where I need to balance high-level strategic thinking with completing the many tasks required to deliver results. Establishing a simple routine has been key: I track company tasks in Notion and sync my personal tasks and calendar using a tool like Sunsama, which helps me structure my day.</p>
<p>Another unexpected discovery has been the power of peer support groups, like those organized by YPO. I meet with my group (“cube”) once a month, and it’s been transformative. These meetings offer a space to receive support, share experiences, and give back to others—something that’s made a huge difference in my leadership journey.</p>
<p><strong>If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one new skill, what would it be — and why?</strong></p>
<p>I’d love to wake up as a skilled dancer! Watching people move gracefully and spin in perfect coordination seems like such a joyful and relaxing way to disconnect. Unfortunately, my brain just isn’t wired for that—but in my imagination, coordinated dancing would be the perfect way to disconnect and let go.</p>

<p>My family is from Bordeaux, and I was born in Paris, where I have been living most of my life, with long periods in Sydney, Australia and New York, USA. I am passionate about sports, travelling to discover different cultures, and street photography!</p>
<p>Professionally, I started in the information sector and have now been in the education space for about six years. As I&#8217;m in charge of partnerships at OpenClassrooms with a focus on new markets, I had set up a partnership with Guild Education in the United States to support education-as-a-benefit for employees of large U.S. employers. So it was quite natural for me to join forces with Lynx to extend this concept in Europe.</p>

		<p><strong>What has been your favorite part of working with Lynx?</strong></p>
<p>First, the alignment on values. Sylvie, Lamia, and the Lynx team genuinely care about the positive impact education can have on people’s lives. Then, the complementary: OpenClassrooms can deliver great, accessible trainings, and Lynx can orchestrate all the rest.</p>
<p>Lynx particularly excels at customizing solutions to customers&#8217; specific needs and aligning the right profiles with the right education programs. We saw a clear improvement in customer satisfaction and student uptake after collaborating with Lynx.</p>
<p><b>Lynx’s vision is contributing to a world where everyone can realize their career ambitions — through access to quality education benefits. From your perspective, how does OpenClassrooms&#8217; learning platform play into that?</b></p>
<p>We couldn’t be more aligned to this vision. OpenClassrooms&#8217; own mission is to make education-to-employability accessible to all. Our content, pedagogy, and platform are designed to serve this mission. All our programs have been selected and created to teach the competencies required for the most in-demand job roles. The common objective is to allow our students to find their way into the workforce.</p>
<p><b>Through your career, you’ve built an impressive understanding of FinTech and EdTech. In your opinion, what do you predict will be the biggest disruptors in the EdTech space over the next 5-10 years?</b></p>
<p>There is a massive shortage of entry level skills in health, energy, or logistics, for instance. And those roles won’t be disrupted much by AI, so there is a need to educate people at scale in these sectors. Today, we still see some resistance to distance learning for these subjects, but I believe more than 90% of manual skills can be taught remotely, without any expensive equipment. It shouldn’t take long before those barriers break.</p>
<p><b>What would you say is the most under-valued skill on the job market today?</b></p>
<p>The ability to connect with others with empathy. This is a prerequisite to everything else.</p>
<p><strong>If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one new skill, what would it be — and why?</strong></p>
<p>Play tennis like Roger Federer, golf like Rory McIlroy, and draw like Leonard de Vinci! But more seriously, if I had to pick just one, I would take my answer to the previous question. Soft skills are game-changing enablers to any hard skills.</p>

<p>My name is Parathan Arasu but I&#8217;m fondly known as Para. I&#8217;m from Singapore. My passions include helping people, working out, running, and playing Frisbee.</p>
<p>These past six months, I&#8217;ve interned at Lynx, primarily as part of the Operations team. Lynx has given me an incredible opportunity to work in Europe and immerse myself in the vibrant culture and dynamic energy of the startup scene here. The past six months have been nothing short of phenomenal, filled with unique experiences and personal growth. This has been an invaluable chapter in my life and career.</p>

		<p><strong>What made you join the Lynx team? Why Lynx?</strong></p>
<p>I got involved with Lynx through a program at the National University of Singapore. I was searching for an internship that would allow me to explore various departments and gain a comprehensive experience, and Lynx offered exactly that. It was also the first company I interviewed with, and I received an offer right away. The opportunity to learn and grow within such a dynamic environment made it an easy decision for me. The rest, as they say, is history.</p>
<p><strong>What has been your favorite Lynx memory to date?</strong></p>
<p>My favorite memory at Lynx was during our onsite meeting, where our distributed team met at our Paris HQ. It was an incredible exchange of knowledge and energy, and it felt truly fulfilling to meet everyone behind Lynx Educate.</p>
<p>One highlight was playing a Kahoot game to learn about each other&#8217;s cultures. It was amazing to see such diversity — having five different continents represented in a company of less than 15 people was truly incredible!</p>
<p><strong>How has your experience at Lynx informed your future personal or professional aspirations?</strong></p>
<p>My experience at Lynx has ignited a passion for helping people. I am inspired by how <a href="https://lynxeducate.com/getstarted/">our product</a> supports workers, and I share the same desire to help individuals become better versions of themselves. Moving forward, I plan to explore various avenues to achieve this goal. I will embark on different work experiences and opportunities to discover which path resonates with me the most.</p>
<p><strong>What’s your take on the future of education — from the perspective of someone currently in school?</strong></p>
<p>Education in school is becoming less about the knowledge we accumulate and more about how we acquire and apply skills. With rapid advancements in technology, there&#8217;s a growing need to focus on leveraging these tools to stay relevant. Therefore, I believe the future of education will emphasize teaching us how to harness these technologies to their full potential rather than specialising in specific fields. This shift will better prepare us for the dynamic and evolving job market.</p>
<p><strong>If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one new skill, what would it be — and why?</strong></p>
<p>I would choose intentionality in speech. Being able to express my thoughts and emotions with intentionality and accuracy is an underrated skill. This ability would allow me to connect with others on a deeper level, fostering better understanding and stronger relationships. Additionally, it would enhance my effectiveness in a professional setting, enabling me to communicate more clearly, persuasively, and efficiently in various situations.</p>

		<p><strong>What made you join the Lynx team? Why Lynx?</strong></p>
<p>The opportunity to join Lynx was particularly compelling because it allowed me to work on a fresh, cutting-edge project that has a strong focus on education. As a firm believer in continuous personal growth, the company&#8217;s vision resonated deeply with me from the beginning. Additionally, working in a multi-cultural environment that focuses on open communication really creates a motivating and innovative workspace where new ideas can thrive.</p>
<p><strong>Much of your work involves taking ideas and tangibly realizing them. As you develop the Lynx product, what are some major pillars that guide your work?</strong></p>
<p>My work within the Lynx Product Team is fundamentally guided by a user-centric design philosophy. Developing new features requires a deep understanding and anticipation of our users’ needs to ensure the product is not only functional but also intuitive and accessible. Placing the user experience at the forefront is always key to creating solutions that can deliver the maximum value.</p>
<p>Additional core aspects of our process are scalability and continuous improvement. It is crucial that the <a href="https://lynxeducate.com/getstarted/">Lynx product</a> can adapt and scale efficiently as it expands along with its growing user base.</p>
<p><strong>The tech space is continuously iterating, especially with the advent and broader adoption of AI. What major trends have you seen in the world of EdTech in particular? Where, in your opinion, is the future headed?</strong></p>
<p>Recent breakthroughs in AI technologies are significantly reshaping how educational content is delivered and personalized for learners. One of the major trends I&#8217;ve observed is the growing emphasis on adaptive learning platforms: systems that leverage AI to tailor educational experiences for users.</p>
<p>With the landscape of technology evolving at such a quick pace, it is hard to predict the development of new interfaces or the future standards of a good UX, but it is safe to bet that AI will play a big part. I believe the future of EdTech will increasingly prioritize accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that educational opportunities are available to all.</p>
<p>Regarding the impact of emerging technologies on the EdTech landscape, one particularly exciting prospect for me is the integration of AI models with augmented reality (AR) capabilities &#8211; a synergy that seems to have significant promise for transforming educational experiences.</p>
<p><strong>If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one new skill, what would it be — and why?</strong></p>
<p>A skill I&#8217;d love to instantly master (though it encompasses several skills) is exceptional public speaking. I&#8217;m always fascinated by speakers who can deliver complex presentations with clarity and inspire their audience.</p>

		<p><strong>Can you briefly introduce yourself?</strong></p>
<p>My name is Lamia Rouai, and I am the Chief Academic Officer and co-founder of Lynx Educate. I was born and raised in Algeria, and then I moved to France to pursue my higher education. It&#8217;s here that I met my husband, and I&#8217;ve never looked back!</p>
<p>I have quite an eclectic academic background: a Ph.D. in Nanosciences from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, a Master&#8217;s in Education Sciences, and an Entrepreneurship diploma from INSEAD. I am passionate about reading and always have several books on the go, covering a variety of topics such as science, politics, fiction, and philosophy. This diversity nourishes my broad and multidisciplinary vision. 		<p><strong>Can you tell us a little bit about why you founded Lynx?</strong></p>
<p>The entrepreneurial spark to found Lynx Educate came from my co-founder Sylvie in 2021. Instead of following a traditional career path in academic administration, she convinced me to join her on this adventure. We launched Lynx Educate with the vision of democratizing access to high-quality training programs and promoting continuous learning within companies.</p>
<p>In today&#8217;s world, people don&#8217;t stay in the same job for life. We need to be able to train and change career paths at any time. Our mission is to foster this culture of lifelong learning, especially given the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence.</p>
<p><strong>What has been your favorite Lynx moment to date?</strong></p>
<p>My favorite moment at Lynx Educate was seeing our first learners access the platform, choose their programmes, and book calls with our advisors to discuss their choices. It was like seeing our vision — Sylvie&#8217;s and mine — come to life before our eyes!</p>
<p>The positive feedback and enthusiasm for continuous learning from our users confirmed that we were on the right track.</p>
<p><strong>We often hear about education as the “great equalizer”. Given your decades of experience in education, do you think this is true? </strong></p>
<p>Yes, I firmly believe that education is the &#8220;great equalizer&#8221;. My experience in higher education has shown me how access to quality training can transform lives. Education opens doors, creates opportunities, and allows individuals to realize their potential, regardless of their social or economic background.</p>
<p>However, for this equality to be real, it is essential to ensure that everyone has equal access to quality educational resources, which is one of Lynx Educate&#8217;s <a href="https://lynxeducate.com/about/">missions</a>.</p>
<p><strong>What do you think is the future of education — especially with the advent of AI?</strong></p>
<p>The future of education will be heavily influenced by artificial intelligence. AI can personalize learning, adapt to the specific needs of each student, and provide instant feedback. It can also automate administrative tasks, allowing teachers to focus more on human interaction and mentorship.</p>
<p>However, it is crucial to maintain a balance between technology and humanity in education, ensuring that human skills like critical thinking and empathy remain at the heart of learning.</p>
<p><strong>If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one new skill, what would it be — and why?</strong></p>
<p>If I could wake up tomorrow with a new skill, it would be the ability to persuade and inspire. As a scientist and educator, I sometimes struggle to communicate the immense value of our Lynx platform to potential clients. Having this skill would allow me to better articulate how Lynx Educate can be a powerful lever to grow clients&#8217; employees and, by extension, their company. This ability would not only strengthen our mission but also expand our reach, enabling us to impact even more people with our high-quality training programs.</p>
