Lynx Impact Terms & Conditions
- Payment – Your contribution is a sponsorship, structured as a commercial transaction, but it does not involve the purchase of goods or services for the sponsor. Instead, the funds will be allocated to educational programs for selected learners, and no physical or digital product will be sent to you.
- Learner Selection – Lynx Educate, in partnership with non-profits, reserves the right to select learners based on eligibility criteria. We also reserve the right to decline or refund any sponsorship at our discretion.
- Refund Policy – If we do not launch by June 1st, 2024, or if no learners are matched with your sponsorship, you will be eligible for a full refund. Refunds can also be requested anytime before May 30, 2024, by contacting support@lynxeducate.com.
- Age Requirement – You must be 18 years or older to sponsor a learner.
- Program Updates & Communication – By sponsoring, you agree to receive periodic email or phone updates about the program’s progress, including launch details and impact reports.
- Sponsorship Allocation & Administrative Fees - Lynx Educate acts as a facilitator by connecting sponsors with learners through partnered learning providers. As part of this service, Lynx Educate retains a commission from the sponsorship amount as an administrative fee for managing the platform, learner selection, and program facilitation. The remaining funds are allocated to cover the educational costs of the selected learners. By sponsoring, you acknowledge and agree that a portion of your payment goes to Lynx Educate as a facilitation fee.
- Legal & Transparency – Lynx Educate operates under French law and complies with all applicable European regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for data privacy and security. This sponsorship does not qualify as a charitable donation for tax purposes in most jurisdictions. Lynx Educate is not responsible for any changes in tax treatment regarding sponsorships in your jurisdiction. Sponsors should consult a tax professional for specific guidance.
